We pride ourselves on using the freshest ingredients and sourcing everything locally where possible. All meals are cooked fresh, to order with rotating specials available every Friday and Saturday. We offer generous portions whether it’s one of our homemade pies, locally supplied steaks, fresh fish dishes or our hugely popular desserts we hope you enjoy what we have to offer!

We love all thing food and drink here at the Cheney Arms and the variety you will find on our menus below reflects this. Families are very welcome here and we also cater for children. Please note that the Sunday lunch menu is an example menu as we change the offering weekly. A one course Sunday lunch is £13.95, two courses £17.95 and three courses, £21.95.
It’s important to us to work with local people and to know where our ingredients come from to ensure we have the freshest and best produce around. For this reason, we use local butcher, Vinny’s of Asfordby for our meats and have done for a number of years. We try and grow different fruits and vegetables in our garden, which we then bring into the kitchen to use in our recipes – you don’t get fresher than that! We love our eight rhubarb crowns that produce wonderful crops during the spring and summer months, and we also have a herb bed that helps us to season meals perfectly. We source our coffee beans from Lee & Fletcher coffee suppliers in Nottingham, a family business who have been roasting coffee beans for over 25 years - they are wonderful!
